Half Empty????

" A glass that is half empty is still drinkable"

-Izzy That Motivational Guy

There are many moments in life that push us to the limit. We feel as though we haven't accomplished all that we had hoped and so we're moved to reflection. In our reflecting we might find ourselves complaining about anything that comes to mind. "I never asked for this, when is it going to change, something's got to give, and I should be further along," are probably the most common complaints. We search ourselves to only label our catalysts and desires as phony and distractions. We'll sit and cry, moan, and stress ourselves to the point that carries us closer to the infamous breakdown. I challenge you this day...look at the deeper truths concerning your life. You've made it through some of the roughest times and have conquered many obstacles. Don't ever measure your strengths and accomplishments by the works of others. "There is so much more to you!" You are exactly where you are supposed to be and the beauty is that you're willing to keep on going. Yes, even in your complaining there is a willingness to see it through. Change your interpretation even as it pertains to your own reflection. Realize why you're feeling this way and let it fuel your prayers and your energies towards your prize. If you have enough energy left over to sit and complain, then there is enough energy to sit and strategize. Your complaining isn't a sign of retreat...it's the deeper side of you wanting more. Your complaints are nothing but level indicators misinterpreted. Notice that they only come after you have labored for quite awhile. Also, notice that they only come as you're drawing closer to the start of a new season. How often have your complaints been silenced by the breakthrough. Instead of complaining about the half empty glass while screaming "I'm so thirsty for more"...drink up and expect a refill!
